Orbit Studios is a workspace built for small creative and marketing agencies, the kind of team running five apps to do the job of one. It brings clients, projects, time tracking, retainers and invoicing into one place, along with a branded client portal so clients can approve estimates and follow their projects without another email thread. I built it after watching a friend try to run his freelance design business across a handful of disconnected tools. He's been the main tester since day one and a lot of what's here exists because he pushed back until it actually worked. I build Orbit solo, alongside a full time job, using Lovable and Claude Code, and I'm upfront about that. It's aimed at agencies and freelancers of one to ten people rather than the two hundred person firms most agency software is built for.
