Picentri is currently operated by Srajan Vishwakarma as an individual operator.
This Privacy Policy explains how Picentri collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Picentri platform.
By accessing or using Picentri, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and authentication information
When you create or sign in to a Picentri account, Picentri may process:
- your email address;
- username;
- full name or display name;
- profile photo/avatar;
- authentication identifiers;
- information provided through Google or GitHub authentication;
- profile metadata made available through an authentication provider.
Picentri currently supports:
- email and password authentication;
- Google OAuth; and
- GitHub OAuth.
Authentication credentials are handled by our authentication infrastructure. Picentri does not intentionally store user passwords in plaintext in its application database.
1.2 Profile information
You may provide profile information including:
- username;
- full name;
- biography;
- avatar;
- website;
- GitHub URL;
- Twitter/X URL;
- profile tags;
- building status;
- builder story;
- collaboration-related information where available; and
- other information you voluntarily provide.
Some profile information may be publicly visible.
1.3 Product and launch information
When you submit a product or launch, Picentri may process:
- product name;
- tagline;
- description;
- category;
- product URL;
- GitHub URL;
- Twitter/X URL;
- technology stack;
- product logo;
- product appearance settings;
- custom background images;
- launch/publication status; and
- information associated with the account that submitted the product.
Additional upload and product features may be introduced over time. We may update this Privacy Policy when new categories of personal information are introduced in a material way.
1.4 User-generated content and community activity
Picentri may collect and store information you submit or generate through your activity, including:
- comments;
- votes and upvotes;
- stories;
- bookmarks;
- product descriptions and launch content;
- Reputation activity;
- Points and Point-related transactions;
- reward records;
- HOT TAG and Featured Product usage funded with Points;
- cosmetic unlocks funded with Points; and
- in-app notification/read-state information where applicable.
1.5 Technical and session information
Picentri uses essential authentication and session cookies and related session information to keep users signed in and operate authenticated features.
Based on the current application implementation, Picentri does not intentionally collect IP addresses, forwarded IP headers, device fingerprints, geolocation information, or referrer information through its own application logic.
However, hosting, infrastructure, security, authentication, analytics, or other service providers may maintain technical or operational logs according to their own systems and configurations.
1.6 Analytics information
Picentri currently uses Google Analytics and Netlify analytics for usage and service analytics.
Depending on their configuration, these services may process information such as page views, browser or device characteristics, referral information, identifiers, approximate location, or other technical and usage information.
Picentri does not currently represent that it sends custom user identifiers or custom user-event data to these analytics services unless such functionality is later introduced and disclosed where required.
Analytics providers and configurations may change over time.
1.7 Security, abuse, and fraud-prevention information
Picentri may process information to:
- protect accounts and the platform;
- prevent spam and abuse;
- detect vote or Point manipulation;
- prevent duplicate or improper rewards;
- verify account or product ownership;
- investigate suspected violations;
- enforce the Terms of Service; and
- protect the security and integrity of Picentri.
This may include account identifiers, activity records, voting records, Point transactions, reward events, product ownership information, and relevant technical or security information.
2. How We Use Information
Picentri may use personal information to:
1. create and authenticate accounts;
2. maintain profiles and product pages;
3. operate launches, comments, stories, votes, bookmarks, Reputation, Points, and other platform features;
4. calculate and maintain Points, Reputation, rewards, and related records;
5. provide search, discovery, ranking, and other platform functionality;
6. store and display user-submitted content;
7. provide essential account-related communications;
8. maintain security and prevent fraud, spam, manipulation, and abuse;
9. investigate and enforce violations of our Terms and policies;
10. understand and improve platform usage through analytics;
11. comply with applicable laws and lawful requests;
12. resolve disputes and protect legal rights; and
13. maintain, secure, debug, and improve our infrastructure.
3. Public Information
Picentri is a public product-launch and discovery platform.
Information you choose to publish may be visible to other users and members of the public.
Depending on the feature, public information may include:
- username;
- profile information;
- products;
- product descriptions;
- stories;
- comments;
- votes or other public activity; and
- publicly shared product media.
Public information may be copied, indexed, linked to, or shared by other people or third parties.
You should avoid publishing personal information that you do not want to make publicly accessible.
4. How We Share Information
Picentri does not sell your personal information as a product to third parties.
We may share information with service providers and integrations that help us operate Picentri.
Supabase
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and realtime infrastructure for Picentri.
Information processed through Supabase may include:
- account and authentication information;
- profile information;
- product and launch information;
- comments, stories, votes, bookmarks, and other user content;
- Points and Reputation information;
- uploaded files;
- reward and transaction records; and
- session-related information.
Google may process information when you use Google to sign in to Picentri through OAuth.
GitHub
GitHub may process information when you use GitHub to sign in to Picentri through OAuth.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may process website and service usage information according to its configuration on Picentri and its own policies.
Netlify
Where Netlify infrastructure or analytics is used, Netlify may process information necessary to host, deliver, secure, and analyze the service.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, court orders, or lawful government requests;
- protect users, Picentri, or the public;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; or
- complete a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of Picentri or its assets.
5. International Processing
Picentri is intended for international users.
Your personal information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you live, including through infrastructure and service providers.
The geographic location of processing may vary depending on our providers and their configurations.
Picentri will handle international processing and transfers in accordance with applicable law.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Picentri currently uses essential authentication and session cookies to keep users signed in and operate authenticated functionality.
Analytics providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, or similar technologies according to their own configurations.
You may manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some parts of Picentri from functioning properly.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential analytics or tracking technologies, Picentri will use appropriate consent mechanisms.
7. Data Retention
Picentri retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- provide and maintain the service;
- maintain account, product, Point, and community records;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- maintain security and operational records;
- resolve disputes;
- comply with legal or regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Picentri does not currently promise a single fixed retention period for every category of information.
Different information may be retained for different periods depending on its purpose, technical requirements, and applicable law.
Time-limited platform features may expire from display even when related records are retained for legitimate operational or accounting purposes.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information and account, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.

When an account is deleted, Picentri may delete or de-identify personal information, subject to information that Picentri must or may retain for:
- legal compliance;
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- dispute resolution;

- enforcement of the Terms; or

Some public content may remain in anonymized or de-identified form where appropriate.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- request access to personal information Picentri holds about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request access to or export of available personal information;
- withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis; and
- exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy or data-protection law.

Picentri may request reasonable information to verify the requester and protect accounts from unauthorized requests.
Some requests may be limited or denied where processing or retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
Picentri has a baseline minimum age of 13, unless a higher minimum age or additional requirements apply under applicable law.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, age-related restrictions, or additional protections for children, those requirements will apply.
Picentri does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from users who are not eligible to use the service under applicable age requirements.

11. Data Security

No internet, software, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

- authenticated access controls;
- account and product ownership checks;
- session protections;
- access restrictions; and
- security controls provided by infrastructure providers.
12. Third-Party Authentication
When you use Google or GitHub authentication, those providers process information according to their own policies.
Picentri receives information made available through the applicable authentication flow and uses it to create or maintain your Picentri account.
You should review the privacy policies of Google and GitHub before using those authentication methods.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Picentri may update this Privacy Policy when its services, data practices, technology, or legal obligations change.
When changes are material, Picentri will provide appropriate notice where required by applicable law.
The updated Privacy Policy will become effective on the date stated at the top of the policy unless another effective date is specified.
